Revoking User Access

Aimably Documentation > Getting Started > Revoking User Access

ROLE-BASED ACCESS NOTE: Some of the features and functionality described in this article require the assignment of the Admin or the Manager user role to your user account. Without one of these roles assigned, some or all of the functionality may not be available to you.

In the event that an employee has left your company or for some reason no longer needs access to Aimably, you have two options for limiting access: Archive a User or Delete a User.

Archive a User

Choose to archive a user when the user's permissions should be retained in the event that the user may need access in the future. To do this, open the Configure navigation menu group, then select Manage Users from the options available.

Next, click on the pencil icon to edit the permissions for the user you would like to archive:

Then, find the active toggle on the user profile and ensure it is set to Off. Click Save.

You can confirm that the user is no longer active in your company's Aimably account by reviewing the User Management page and confirming there is no checkmark in the Active column:

Delete a User

Choose to delete a user when there is no chance that the user will need to access your company's Aimably account in the future. To do this, open the Configure navigation menu group and select Manage Users from the options provided.

Next, click on the trash can icon on the row relating to the user you would like to delete:

Then, you will be asked to confirm that deleting this user is a permanent action:

Click Yes to delete the user permanently from Aimably.
