ROLE-BASED ACCESS NOTE: Some of the features and functionality described in this article require the assignment of the Admin or the DevOps user role to your user account. Without one of these roles assigned, some or all of the functionality may not be available to you.

In your AWS browser tab or window, confirm you are signed in to AWS in the managing payer account of the same organization on your scope list as you used in the previous section, using a role with full administrator access.

In your Aimably browser tab or window, open the Configure section of the Aimably navigation and click “Connect to AWS.”

Find the row associated with the AWS organization you are currently signed into in AWS, then click the white square button with three solid horizontal lines.

To confirm you are clicking the correct button, on hover a “Setup the Cost and Usage Report for this Account” label will appear:

Click “Create a new Cost & Usage Report.” Then, click “Automated Setup (AWS CloudFormation).”

Click the wide teal button “Start CloudFormation Stack creation to create your Aimably role by clicking here.” You will be taken to the Stack Creation screen in AWS.

In AWS, click the orange “Create Stack.”

Close the wizard.
